Come Prepared - the admonition that keeps on giving

I can just hear the admonition from my parents from long ago; come prepared. It's April 25th and the countdown is on for my cross-country sojourn with the Go, our ultralight pop-up camper from Sylvan Sports. Not to dissimilar to any other major projects, you trust the time spent in prep is worth the effort to smooth out the anticipated speed bumps in the road ahead.  Santa probably had is right with
the making a list and checking it twice routine.  If there was a flaw to my planning it's leaving the list to last:)  Andrea will be doing double duty to fill in the anticipated gaps in the take-alongs.  Here's a pic of the Go loaded but still in packing mode. The Go starts out with a base weight of 840lbs., and I'm guessing I'll add another 3-400 lbs. of gear between what's in the Go and in the Highlander.  The electric cooler has to be 70 lbs. just by itself, but what a nice luxury since it will run on the SUVs 12 volt. system or 110.  It will ride in the back of the SUV along with my dry goods, electronics, clothing and additional foam sleeping pad. Now it's time to figure out how you are supposed to access this nice electronic journal called a blog.  Got a say, it's convenient to be able to post pics as you go along.
